"The labour was quick and the delivery near faultless. The resulting offspring is anything but still; it’s charging about the place crashing against every surface. And like any ill-behaved baby, you can’t ignore it." - Metal As Fuck
"A full on blast that will leave you sweaty and tired, and that is just from the first ride. There are 8 more to go before you reach the end of the line. Who needs expensive diet courses when you have Fetus Stench to burn off all that excessive fat?" - Battlehelm
"No matter if you heard this style before, the important thing is to find bands that maintain the strength of the bloody death metal. An excellent album that should be heard. If you really consider yourself a metalhead, give this band a try." - Dead Void Dreams
Fueled with hatred against the current state of brutal music, Fetus Stench is here to bring the death back into death metal. Hailing from Karlstad, Sweden,
the band members are anything but newcomers. With experience including multiple tours opening for bands like Dimmu Borgir, Grave, Enslaved, releasing a handful of records with bands like Blood Red Throne, The Law and more. Andreas Björnson, Christoffer Ilberg, Kristian Karlsson and Emil Wiksten has joined forces in Fetus Stench.
In February 2011, two months after their formation, Fetus Stench landed a record deal with Abyss Records in just one week after releasing their first demo.
This generated interest from acknowledged magazines such as Sweden Rock Magazine. Later that year, the band entered the studio to record their debut album, "Stillbirth".
In the beginning of 2012, the world got its first taste of the album. The song "The Outer Island" was released through the internet and recieved great response from the public as well as musicians from established bands like Cannibal Corpse, Vomitory and Grave.
Now, barely months away from unleashing "Stillbirth", Fetus Stench will celebrate the release with a gig together with Vomitory, hosted by Metal Clüb in Karlstad the 30th of April.
