Synthpop, post-punk duo from Minsk, Belarus based in Augsburg, Germany created by belarusian musician Arthur Tsymbal with partial support by keyboarder Egor Ivakhnenko (Moscow, Russia).
They construct melancholic 1980s-inspired synth-pop music.
2014 released their first Album Loud (2014) and played their first live shows in Belarus and Russia.
With their second Album - Discotheque (2016), TVY changed their sound. The sound got darker, the lyrics deeper. After “Discotheque” was released, TVY played at the one of the biggest Belarusian music festivals “FSP” und the first European live shows in Germany and Belgium.
With their album Distant (2019) The Violent Youth showed a brand new analogue sound in their music together with the lyric themes from love to politics.
2020 the duo is going to release its fourth album supporter with already released singles „Horosho Odnomu“ and „Tantsui“, like it has never done before - synth pop and post-punk with lyrics in completely duo members mother language - russian.
